For many, it's the chance to live a dream. For others, it's a day in which history is made.
For the legends, it's where their greatest memories were carved. For the new talents,
it's an opportunity to rise to the top. For the wrestlers, it's a time to prove their statements.
For the fans, it's when they cheer loudest for their idols.
For the world, it's the grandest stage in sports entertainment history.
WrestleMania...the showcase of the immortals.

DATE: 30th MARCH 2003
VENUE: SAFECO FIELD, SEATTLE WA

DURING HEAT: The RAW Tag Championship match was shifted into a HEAT slot,
and ended with Kane & Rob Van Dam losing to Lance Storm & Chief Morley due to the
Dudleys. Nathan Jones, on the other hand, was attacked backstage by A-Train and the Big Show,
turning The Undertaker's match into a handicap stipulation.

Before WrestleMania started up with the matches, a special guest was invited to
sing in honor of the United States of America. The guest was none other than the Ashanti. Once
that was done, the preview played and WrestleMania was on its way.

WWE CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Rey Mysterio vs. Matt Hardy w/ Shannon Moore

- Rey was dressed as the DareDevil, with the horns as well. Matt received a lot of
help from Shannon Moore, and managed to score the pin by using the bottom rope
to his advantage, which the referee did not see.

- Limp Bizkit was out on stage to perform their previous big-hit 'Rollin', and
towards the end, accompanied their song with the entrance of The Undertaker, who
got in the ring, gave a bit of a hug to Durst and got hyped for his upcoming match.

2 ON 1 HANDICAP MATCH
The Undertaker vs. Big Show & A-Train
Winner: The Undertaker
- Nathan Jones came out towards the end of the match, and delivered a
devastating kick to the Big Show, allowing The Undertaker to Tombstone
A-Train and pick up the win.

Winner: Trish Stratus

SMACKDOWN! TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Los Gurreros vs. Chris Benoit & Rhyno vs. Team Angle

Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels
Winner: Shawn Michaels
- Both men performed very well, and the match was as good as
anyone could ask for. After the match, Jericho hugged Shawn, and received great
applause from the fans, until he suddenly kicked HBK in the groin area and walked out of
the ring a bitter mess.

- A new record was announced for the SAFECO Field, with a total of 54, 097 people attendant
for WrestleMania XIX.
- Limp Bizkit came out again to perform the theme song for WrestleMania XIX called Crack Addict
which will be on their new CD, coming out sometime soon. The band received a very positive response from the
fans, and their performance was over the edge and really up to the standard, fit for an event such as WrestleMania XIX.

MILLER LITE CATFIGHT

- The match was first a single, on the bed, match with pillows, until Stacy came

pulling his pants down.

20 YEARS IN THE MAKING STREET FIGHT
Vince McMahon vs. Hulk Hogan

- The crowd went wild when Vince McMahon jumped off a 10 foot ladder and
gave Hogan the leg-drop on the commentators' table. The Spanish commentator
was accidentally hit by a chair and taken away. Halfway through the fight, the fans went
nuts when the veteran Roddy Piper interfered, but hit Hogan with a steel pipe.
Hogan managed to withstand Vince and score the pin, receiving huge amounts of cheer from the
54 thousand over people in Seattle.

The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin

WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT CHAMPIONSHIP
Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle
Winner: Brock Lesnar
- Angle could withstand 2 F5s, but just couldn't stand the third.

COMMENTS:
A very pleasing WrestleMania, although Kane's match would have fitted pretty well into the card. Anyhow, once
again, WrestleManie hasn't failed to break an audience record and deliver the adrenaline pumping action to all its fans
around the globe. And, let's all get ready for the Jackhammer himself! Yes, during the show, a video was shown regarding
Goldberg, saying that he will be in action at Backlash!!! The favorite matches, in my opinion...Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho,
The Rock vs. Stone Cold and Hulk Hogan vs. Vince McMahon.
